Delamere Spartans have marshalled the Mardale checkpoint in the Lakeland 50/100 race for three years now. Tim and I have been there each time, and each year, it's been better and better. Here are a few lessons we've learned along the way in ultra marshalling an ultra marathon...

UTLD 50: aka Groundhog Day

Tales from the Skyline

Having done the Yorkshire Three Peaks race last year and loved the challenge, I wanted to add another tough classic Blue Riband AL race to the list while my joints will still let me, so this year the Edale Skyline race came onto the menu as I will missing the Y3P and running the Highland Fling next month instead.
